Here is a post about one of the major concern of a new mom like me : diapering. What should I choose? What is the best for me, my budget, and of course the health of my baby and the earth? I definitely think about cloth diapers as a solution for this.
You can find cloth diapers in the internet or shops, they look like disposables and are very practical to use. You will find basically 2 kinds of diapers.
1. the classic diaper which you will have to use with a diaper cover or wrap to assure waterproof and avoid leaking.
2. the All-In-One (AIO), which you can use without cover as it already has it incorporated.
What are the advantages and inconvenient of the 2 different models? Well, if you are thinking in having more children and so use the diapers again, the classic ones seam more tough and resistant to me, they are also cheaper as well as better for a night-nap use or if baby uses to wet a lot.
The AIO are a better option if you work or use to go outside, if baby is babysit, they are just more practical to use.
If you are interested in trying cloth diapering for your child, here are a few links I like.
this is a web from Arizona I like: wild flower diapers
and this is a very useful ranking of the websites about cloth diaper you can find around: cloth diaper sites
If you are thinking you can also do your diapers yourself, here you have a very nice web to find patterns and suppliers: hand made by rita
And here is a video on how to sew a diaper: sew a diaper
I hope you find this post useful and you become soon an adept of the cloth diapering! feel free to post your comments on this post, I love to hear from you!
